Brand Book is a free guide to ranch vacations. There are no accounts and nothing to buy, and we collect very little. Here is what happens when you visit.
What we collect
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages people visit, how they found us, roughly where they are (city or region), and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. We use it only to improve Brand Book.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the site.
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message, and we use them only to reply and handle your request.
What stays on your device
The packing checklist remembers the items you tick off using your browser's local storage. That list never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- We don't run ads on Brand Book.
- We don't ask you to create an account or sign up for anything.
How to opt out
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services.
Links to other sites
Listings link to each ranch's own website and to Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we don't control what they collect.
Children
Brand Book is written for adults planning trips and isn't directed at children under 13.
