What you'll do
- A slower first ride after a safety briefing and time in the arena, then faster or longer rides as you show you can handle them
- Usually no more than 4 riders per wrangler, on rides of 1 to 5 hours
- Arena lessons, a natural horsemanship program and guided hiking
- Fly fishing on private water, hot springs, a geothermal pool and shooting
When to go
- Mid-June to late September, six nights from Sunday
- Adults-only weeks from late August
Who it's for
- Families: a full kids program for ages 5 to 12, and a limited one for children who walk and are out of diapers
- Riders who want to move up to faster rides as the week goes on
- Anglers: private trout water, with guides on request

- Riders are limited to 250 lb
- The nearest airport is San Luis Valley Regional, about 1 hour 15 minutes away; the ranch does not run airport transfers
- Drinks, massage and fishing guides cost extra, and a service charge is added
