What you'll do
- Learn riding, roping and shoeing, and ride the desert looking for cattle
- Two nights in a bunkhouse at Lorill Equestrian Center, then three days helping a working cattle ranch gather, fence or brand
- The cattle work isn't staged, and some sessions camp at a line shack

- Five-day sessions in January to April, June, and September to December 2026
- One- and three-day options on request
Who it's for
- Riders who want to learn cowboy skills in a class of six or fewer
- Students under 18 need a notarized release from both parents or a guardian

- It's a school, not a guest ranch, and the host cattle ranch changes each session
