What you'll do
- Fall weeks gathering cattle on open range and moving them to new pasture or for shipping
- A spring horse drive, moving the herd about 50 miles over four days
- Summer family weeks with cow milking, colt leading, fishing and an all-day Black River ride
When to go
- Mid-May to late October, in six-night Sunday-to-Saturday stays only
- Family weeks June 7 to August 22, 2026
- 2026 cattle weeks: roping September 13 to 19, gathering September 20 to 26, round-up October 25 to 31
Who it's for
- Families in summer, with riders 6 and up and led pony rides for the youngest
- Experienced riders in fall: the round-up needs 40 or more hours in the saddle
Good to know
- Riding costs extra in summer family weeks but is included in specialty weeks
- An 18% service fee applies, wifi is $100 a week, and there's no childcare
- No cell service and generator power; no ice or drinks are sold, so bring your own
